Description
Vibrating Wire Push-In Piezometer – Model EPP-50V
The EPP-50V is a push-in type vibrating wire piezometer designed for direct installation in soft soils, clays, and landfill materials to measure pore water pressure.
It features a stainless-steel body with a pointed cone tip for smooth penetration and drill rod threads (EW or M28) at the other end, allowing easy coupling with standard rods for direct push-in installation without borehole drilling.
The attached cable is routed internally through the drill rod, ensuring protection during insertion.
The sensor is hermetically sealed using electron beam welding and operates reliably in saturated ground conditions. Its robust construction and waterproof design make it ideal for rapid deployment in geotechnical investigations and long-term monitoring projects.
