Description
Vibrating Wire Strain Gauge – Model EDS-21V-SW
The EDS-21V-SW vibrating wire strain gauge is designed for surface strain measurement on steel and concrete structures.
It can be spot-welded or epoxy-bonded to steel elements such as girders, struts, and tunnel linings, and epoxy-bonded directly to concrete surfaces.
The strain gauge assembly includes a sensor coil housing mounted directly over the active element, providing a completely watertight enclosure for long-term field monitoring.
A pair of precision mounting clamps is supplied to secure the housing to the substrate with epoxy adhesive, ensuring strong adhesion and accurate strain transfer under varying field conditions.
