Description
Tilt & Beam Sensor – Model EAN-91M
The Encardio-rite Model EAN-91M is a versatile MEMS-based tilt meter designed for monitoring inclination, differential movement, and rotation in civil and geotechnical structures.
The instrument can be used as a stand-alone wall-mounted tilt sensor or configured as a beam sensor when installed on a rigid beam assembly to measure deflection, deformation, and rotation across larger spans.
It is widely used for applications such as retaining walls, tunnel linings, bridge decks, embankments, foundations, and concrete slabs, where both tilt and relative displacement must be monitored with high precision.
System Overview
The EAN-91M tilt meter employs a high-accuracy MEMS sensor housed in a robust stainless-steel or aluminum enclosure, providing long-term stability and excellent temperature performance.
The sensor can be mounted directly on the surface of a structure using standard fixing screws, or attached to a 1 m, 2 m, or 3 m beam, forming a beam deflection monitoring system.
When installed in beam configuration, multiple tilt meters can be connected in series to measure differential movement or bending along the structure.
Data can be automatically collected and transmitted using the Encardio-rite ESDL-30 wireless datalogger for real-time structural monitoring.
