Model: EDE-VXX
The EDE-VXX is a vibrating wire linear displacement transducer that precisely converts mechanical movement into a frequency-based electrical signal. The sensor is engineered for accurate, long-term displacement monitoring and is suitable for use in both surface and subsurface geotechnical applications.
The electrical frequency output can be transmitted over long cable lengths without signal degradation, making the EDE-VXX ideal for remote or automated monitoring systems. The sensor output can be directly read or recorded using the Encardio-rite model EDI-51V portable digital readout unit or integrated into the Encardio-rite model EDAS-10 data acquisition system.
Thanks to its robust design and flexibility, the EDE-VXX can be integrated into a wide range of geotechnical instruments, such as uniaxial and triaxial joint meters, crack meters, borehole extensometers, and soil extensometers, as well as for pile load testing and other deformation monitoring applications.
