Description
Model: EDJ-41M
The EDJ-41M Crack Meter is a mechanical crack monitoring system designed for precise surface displacement measurement across cracks, joints, or fissures in concrete, masonry, or rock structures. It provides a durable, low-maintenance, and high-accuracy solution for long-term structural health monitoring in civil and geotechnical applications.
The system comprises two precision-machined stainless steel datum blocks, each featuring a circumferential groove used as a reference for measurement. The datum blocks are installed on opposite sides of the crack or joint, anchored securely to the structure using expandable bolts.
Each block includes a through-hole for M8 anchors and tightening nuts for secure installation. The distance between the grooves on the two blocks is measured using a digital inside caliper with a resolution of 0.01 mm, providing highly accurate readings of crack width changes over time.
The EDJ-41M is ideal for use in tunnels, dams, retaining walls, heritage structures, and rock slopes, offering a robust, field-proven design with straightforward manual measurement.
