Model: EDJ-50V
The EDJ-50V Joint Meter is specifically engineered to monitor movement between adjacent concrete blocks within concrete dams and large concrete structures. It is designed for embedment installation, allowing precise and long-term measurement of internal crack or joint opening during construction or in-service monitoring.
The instrument consists of a durable plastic housing fitted with a stainless-steel flange at one end and a stainless-steel socket at the other. Inside the housing, a vibrating wire displacement transducer is securely mounted and connected to both ends via flexible joints, permitting limited lateral movement while maintaining precise axial displacement measurement.
This design ensures reliable operation in inaccessible or embedded locations, providing stable readings over extended monitoring periods, even in harsh or high-pressure environments.
