Description
The EPP-30V vibrating wire piezometer is a high-performance sensor designed to accurately measure pore water pressure in soil, earth/rock-fill foundations, and mass concrete structures.
The instrument features a stainless steel body, hermetically sealed under a high vacuum (0.001 Torr) to ensure long-term stability and protection against moisture ingress.
Each unit is equipped with an integrated thermistor for temperature measurement and a surge arrester to safeguard against lightning.
A glass-to-metal sealed connector provides a secure and reliable cable interface.
For installation, the piezometers can be placed at multiple depths in boreholes using cement grouting or sand placement techniques, depending on site conditions.
