Description
Compression Load Cell – Model ELC-210S
The Encardio-rite Model ELC-210S is a heavy-duty precision compression load cell engineered to deliver highly accurate and reliable measurements of compressive loads and axial forces in structural and geotechnical applications.
Specially designed for strut load monitoring, pile load testing, and compressive force measurement, the ELC-210S provides long-term stability and superior resistance to mechanical and environmental stresses.
System Overview
Constructed from high-strength alloy steel, the ELC-210S incorporates eight precision strain gauges configured to minimize positioning errors and compensate for bending and eccentric loading.
This design ensures consistent and accurate readings even under demanding conditions, while greatly extending the fatigue life of the sensor.
The load cell’s body is hermetically sealed using electron-beam welding, making it fully waterproof and dust-proof (IP-68). It operates reliably in harsh outdoor or submerged environments, with complete protection against moisture and contamination.
Measured signals can be read through any standard digital readout unit suitable for resistive strain-gauge sensors. For automated systems, data can be collected, logged, and transmitted using Encardio-rite dataloggers with Busmux, multiplexer, or SDI-12 digital interface.
