Description
Model: EDJ-40C
The EDJ-40C Crack Meter is a mechanical surface-mounted instrument designed for precise measurement of surface crack width variations on concrete, masonry, or rock structures. It provides a simple, cost-effective, and easy-to-read solution for long-term crack monitoring in buildings, dams, retaining walls, and other civil structures.
The device consists of a graduated scale plate and a transparent acrylic plate with a fine hairline cursor mark. When installed across a crack or joint, any opening or closing movement causes the scale and cursor to shift relative to each other. This movement can be read directly to a resolution of 0.5 mm, allowing clear visual observation of structural movement without specialized equipment.
The EDJ-40C is ideal for use in routine structural health inspections, providing quick, reliable measurements with minimal installation requirements.
