Description
Wireless In-Place Inclinometer System – Model EAN-52MV
The EAN-52MV wireless in-place inclinometer (IPI) system is an advanced digital monitoring solution designed for continuous measurement of lateral movement in earthworks and structures.
It is ideal for critical applications where real-time data and early warning are essential for protecting infrastructure and ensuring safety.
The system consists of a string of digital tilt sensors installed within inclinometer casings to span the movement zone. Each sensor module is equipped with pivoted sprung wheels to maintain precise contact with the casing grooves. The EAN-52MV IPI employs MEMS tilt sensors with SDI-12 digital output, ensuring accurate and noise-free measurements even over long cable runs.
All sensors are interconnected via a three-conductor bus cable, forming a daisy-chain network. This configuration minimizes cabling complexity by eliminating the need for individual signal cables from each sensor, making it particularly efficient in installations with a large number of sensors per borehole.
The recorded data is transmitted to a compatible datalogger, such as the ESDL-30, for storage, visualization, and remote transmission to a central monitoring server.
