Description
Vibrating Wire Strain Gauge – Model EDS-11V
The EDS-11V vibrating wire strain gauge is a robust and reliable sensor designed for measuring strain in mass concrete and steel structures.
It can be embedded directly in concrete or welded to steel surfaces, making it ideal for monitoring structural behavior in dams, foundations, tunnels, and bridges.
The gauge’s stainless-steel body is hermetically sealed using electron beam welding, maintaining a vacuum of approximately 0.001 Torr to eliminate moisture, oxidation, and water ingress. This ensures exceptional durability and accuracy, even in long-term geotechnical or structural monitoring applications.
Optional accessories include a strain rosette spider, no-stress container, dummy strain gauge, and extender, allowing flexible installation configurations for comprehensive stress analysis.
