The Encardio-rite Model EAN-70M Portable Tilt Meter is a high-precision field instrument designed for periodic monitoring of inclination changes in civil and geotechnical structures.
It employs a MEMS accelerometer-based sensor offering excellent sensitivity, long-term stability, and temperature compensation, making it ideal for applications where permanent installation is unnecessary or where tilt readings must be taken at multiple points.
Typical applications include buildings, retaining walls, bridges, dams, and tunnels, where deformation trends are evaluated through repeated tilt measurements.
System Overview
The EAN-70M tilt meter is housed in a rugged, corrosion-resistant aluminum frame with precision-machined surfaces that ensure accurate positioning on tilt plates.
Readings are taken at pre-installed tilt plate locations, allowing a single operator to quickly and reliably record inclination changes at each monitoring point.
