Description
Model: ESMP-10
Surface Settlement Point for Embankment and Ground Monitoring
The Encardio-rite ESMP-10 Settlement Point is a precision instrument designed for monitoring vertical settlement on the surface of embankments, fills, and soil masses during and after construction. It provides a stable reference point for accurate, repeatable elevation measurements over time, making it an essential tool for geotechnical performance monitoring.
The assembly consists of a survey pin fabricated from AISI 304 stainless steel, featuring a hemispherical top with a red reference dot for precise optical sighting. The pin is attached to a mild steel (MS) extension rod and supported by a grouting plate for secure embedment in the ground. An outer PVC protective sleeve prevents corrosion and damage to the assembly.
A heavy-duty, lockable protective cover (ordered separately) can be installed to safeguard the top of the instrument from mechanical impact or unauthorized access, ensuring reliable long-term operation in field conditions.
